Massive DLC pack for LoK
Legend of Keepers: Soul Smugglers is a free-to-use role-playing experience from Goblinz Studio. This is a downloadable content (DLC) pack for Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager, introducing a new set of in-game collectibles and aesthetics. Chief among its add-ons is the Skeleton Lord master, five new missions, and the Graveyard, which allows you to bring your monsters back to life.

As a DLC, Legend of Keepers: Soul Smugglers requires the base game in order to run. Unfortunately, this particular add-on feels rushed and unbalanced, unlike the Prologue or Feed the Troll DLCs.
Control where the souls go
The main theme in the Legend of Keepers: Soul Smugglers DLC is the acquisition and management of souls. For starters, it features an all-new game mechanic. Players can now steal Soul Fragments from enemy heroes, which you can then use to upgrade and promote monsters in your dungeon. Furthermore, this add-on introduces the Skeleton Lord. This well-rounded master specializes in dealing HP damage, although it can be difficult to acquire.
This expansion also adds five new missions for the player to explore and accomplish. There are also three new traps, five artifacts, and 10 new Psychopomp monsters, expanding the gameplay possibilities for new and existing dungeon managers. Most importantly, the souls smuggling is brought to life thanks to the Graveyard promotion. It allows players to bring back different monsters in different ways.
Unfortunately, this pack is severely flawed, and gives the idea of being released prematurely. For one, players have reported several cases where playing the DLC-enabled version of the game causes it to crash randomly, requiring them to restart the game and their current battle. Additionally, the game doesn’t take the time to introduce the new content and mechanics properly, leaving players to figure stuff through trial and error.
An unfortunate expansion
When Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager started, it was a beloved game that reinvented the dungeon management niche. However, by the time of Legend of Keepers: Soul Smugglers, the game has fallen from grace. It introduces a host of new monsters, missions, and upgrades but fails to introduce them well to the players, making them vague on top of the mod being unstable.
